About Us
We created Gift-a-Green because we wanted to bring some "LIFE" to the greeting card industry. Literally! Our Gift-a-Green cards pack a powerful pouch of fresh and healthy microgreen seeds that allow you to send it and your recipient to grow (and eat) it. "Psst! The pouch is the pot".
The concept was developed around the notion of connecting people through an engaging and interactive experience. People love receiving greeting cards, but unfortunately the experience ends as soon as you open the envelope and read the card.
We've partnered up with several Canadian-based companies in order to get the freshest seeds, coolest packaging, and tastiest healthy treats into the hands and mouths of those you care about. We've designed Gift-a-Green to send just like a postcard as regular letter mail allowing you to simply select a pouch theme, write your personal message, add a postage stamp and pop it in the mailbox.
We hope you (and your loved ones) will love our greens as much as we do.

Our seeds are non-GMO and 100% organic. They are rigorously tested to ensure they exceed sanitation and contamination standards and are specifically selected by Mumm's Sprouting Seeds Ltd.
